Our name “Catemer” is derived from the Latin catenate which means to link (as in a chain) and the Greek word meros which means part. Catemer excels in connecting monomers into polymeric chains.

We Work With You To Determine The Material Problems and Find Solutions.

To insure the “best match” Catemer has established manufacturing and development sites in Tennessee and Pennsylvania and is actively expanding its capabilities within the US and globally. We have a proven track record of assisting customers in defining device problems in terms of materials challenges and design criteria, and then finding a solution.

Catemer Growth Strategy

Catemer’s growth strategy is to expand existing business organically and make complementary investments and acquisitions in the area of advanced macromolecular science. Our goal is to provide technical skill sets and process capabilities for in specialty polymer technology. Catemer is focused on the development of materials to support new generation devices and emerging device technologies, including sensors and diagnostics, that rely on intrinsic polymer properties, and production at a scale consistent with demand, characterization and control.

Catemer is currently actively pursuing investments and acquisitions in polymer synthesis, post-polymerization modification and advanced compounding and formulation in North America and Europe. Please contact Dr, Barry Arkles at executiveoffice@catemer.com.
